Biografie

Sophie Starck is a PhD student at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Informatics in Medicine at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). She received her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from EPITA in 2019 and her Master’s degree in Image Processing and Computer Graphics from EPITA in 2021. She is very enthusiastic about Machine Learning and Medical Imaging. She conducted her Master’s thesis at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Informatics in Medicine where she focused on predicting age from abdominal CT scans in a Geometric Deep Learning setting . Her research interests are focused on the applications of Geometric Deep Learning for Medical Diagnosis, particularly for patient outcome prediction.
