"Leonhard Feiner is a Ph.D. student at the Institutes of Radiology and Artificial Intelligence and Informatics in Medicine at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). In 2020, he graduated with a Master of Science in Robotics, Cognition and Intelligence at TUM with the focus on Machine and Deep Learning. His Master’s thesis deals with Sparse Convolutions for Semantic 3D Instance Segmentation and was conducted at the Visual Computing Lab at TUM. His research interests lie in quantification and utilization of data and model uncertainty using Bayesian Deep Learning and its application on medical imaging, with focus on pulmonary diseases."
